ABOUT US

The Honeybush Company (formerly known as the Langkloof Honeybush Co.) is a social enterprise which was established by Grounded in 2018. The Honeybush Company was set up to assist farmers to utilise the wild growing honeybush tea populations on their property, while maintaining the ecological function of the natural vegetation. We have worked hard, together with local partners to develop wild harvesting practices that are fully traceable and sustainable. This model is a true “proof of concept” that wild harvesting can be done sustainably if managed well. The Honeybush Company is also at the forefront of trialing regenerative cultivation practices, to reduce pressure on wild stocks. Once harvested, the tea is further processed and developed into our signature blends which we sell onto local and international markets.
